The Decatur Township Educational Foundation was established in 2005 by a group of business, civic, and education leaders and the Metropolitan School District of Decatur Township who understood that a foundation is vitally important to both current and future learners.

Primary funds have been created to encourage excellence in five significant areas:

  Technology and Learning
  Arts and Education
  Cultural Enrichment
  Professional Development
  Scholastic Enhancement

The Foundation provides grants to faculty members for creative classroom programs as well as
major projects that offer new educational opportunities for groups of classrooms, departments,
